Project Summary

The NHDOT/FHWA funded CMAQ Program US Route 3 and NH Route 28 Bypass project consisted of improvements along the roadway from Martin’s Ferry intersection, through the Route 28 Bypass intersection, and concluding at the Wal-Mart intersection. Along with signal coordination at four intersections, the project included preparation of preliminary and final construction plans, traffic planning and analysis, signal design, new intersection layouts, roadway design, drainage improvements, utility conflict identification and resolution, traffic control phasing, drainage improvements, and public hearing presentations.

The US Route 3 and Alice Avenue project consisted of intersection improvements. The project included preparation of preliminary and final construction engineering plans; traffic planning and analysis; signal design; roadway and intersection design; drainage improvements; and public hearing participation.
