Stormwater Management Practices Study
Client: Town of Williston, Vermont
This study consisted of two separate but interrelated phases. The first phase included the review of the Towns Post Development Erosion Control element of their draft Stormwater Management Plan prior to its submittal to the State. The second phase involved a detailed exploration of stormwater management practices that are applicable in densely developed areas, synthesizing the results of that exploration, and then assisting the Town in drafting local regulations that encourage and/or require the use of the identified management practices. All work was done in close cooperation with the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation to ensure that the Towns management efforts are consistent with the States recently adopted Stormwater Rules.
