Hoyle, Tanner is leading the team for the design and construction of various renovations and high priority upgrades to Bangor International Airport’s domestic passenger terminal. Fennick McCredie Architecture LTD is providing architectural services for the 95,000 SF improvement project which is being implemented through a series of individual phases to address separate funding mechanisms. These funding sources include Transportation Security Administration (TSA); the Airport via an FAA approved Passenger Facilities Charge (PFC); whose application was previously prepared by Hoyle, Tanner and the FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP). The upgrades to the existing terminal building include exterior improvements; ticket counter area reconfiguration; checked baggage system upgrades and building energy system improvements. The design is intended to improve passenger flow, better utilize existing lower level terminal space, and improve the energy efficiency of the building.
