Project Summary

The goal of the Belmont Village Revitalization Project was to develop roadway infrastructure plans that visually enhance the downtown village and promote business growth. The public process was an integral part of the project and served as a driver to the refinement of the improvements. The engineering design included approximately 3,500 linear feet of road reconstruction with the replacement of major utilities. The downtown area was also enhanced through the placement of extensive vegetative landscaping and new sidewalks utilizing “Streetprint” stamping. Some additional features added to the project were a new pocket park, a relocated Memorial Park, period style lighting, artistic style bike racks and pedestrian benches. The project was publicly bid and awarded within the towns anticipated construction cost and budget.
