Patrick Sharrow, AAE, joins Hoyle, Tanner with nearly 15 years of airline and aviation management experience. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick worked for the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority as the Airport Manager for the Ogdensburg International Airport (New York) on more than $21 million in expansion projects to extend their runway and airport facilities and support additional commercial airline service. Additional aviation experience includes 10 years as an Airport Operations Specialist at Burlington International Airport (Vermont) where his focus was on airfield safety and security. In addition to his experience in airport management and operations, Patrick started his career in the airline industry training personnel and setting up business operating stations for Jet Blue, providing a unique perspective when developing airport layout and master plans.

Throughout his career Patrick, has done airport planning and development, marketing, commercial service development, and both landside and airside operations management. He has extensive knowledge of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations and has developed airport security plans, as well as airport emergency plans that strengthen local community response and support the National Incident Management System.

Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in aerospace studies with concentrations in Airport Management, Human Factors, and Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as a master’s in Business Administration with a concentration on Organizational Leadership from Norwich University. He is an Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) with the American Association of Airport Executives, a certified private pilot, and a remote/UAS pilot.
