Jennie Auster Appointed to Board of Directors for GMWEA

Jennie Auster, Associate and Senior Project Manager at Hoyle Tanner, was appointed to the GMWEA Board of Directors this year! The Green Mountain Water Environment Association (GMWEA) is a nonprofit organization that supports clean water in Vermont. The Board of Directors is comprised of 12 people – operators for water quality like wastewater, stormwater and drinking water, environmental engineers, public works authorities – and individuals are elected or appointed by GMWEA members each year. Jennie’s term on the board will be for 2021 – 2022 as a director. You can find a full list of directors for the current year here. Jennie has had a varied environmental engineering career with a focus on wastewater treatment process engineering as well as drinking water treatment and asset management. Jennie has provided engineering services for study, design, and/or construction for over 35 wastewater systems in New England. In addition to senior-level project management and technical leadership at Hoyle Tanner, she works with communities to optimize funding opportunities through programs such as USDA Rural Development, Clean Water State Revolving Funds, ARPA, Northern Borders Regional Commission grants, Lake Champlain Basin Program Section 542 funding, and congressionally directed spending.
