We are pleased to announce Jennifer (Jen) Walsh, PE has joined our team of water quality engineers as a Senior Engineer in our Burlington, Vermont office! Jen brings over a decade of experience in the water industry, working with clients large and small to identify engineering solutions that improve operations and expand treatment capacity. She has been responsible for preliminary engineering, detailed design, and construction-phase services for projects across the nation and leverages this experience to help clients use their existing assets to meet future needs.
Jen joins our growing Northeast Municipal Engineering (NEME) team as the newest addition to our wastewater team, focusing on treatment facility upgrades to improve water quality and protect public health in Vermont and New Hampshire. Jen earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of the Pacific and a master’s degree in environmental engineering at Duke University. She maintains professional engineer licenses in Virginia and California with reciprocal licenses in Vermont and New Hampshire pending.
Jen is an active volunteer with the Water Environment Federation and its member associations. She has helped to organize numerous technical conferences and educational events that bring engineers and operations staff together to encourage knowledge transfer and growth within the water industry. She is looking forward to making a direct impact on water quality in her new home state of Vermont.
