Hoyle, Tanner has managed, designed and
overseen construction on considerable number of water, wastewater, stormwater and solid waste projects
over the past 30 years. We provide a full range of engineering services
from planning and concept studies through design, construction
management, start-up and operating assistance. Work has included water
supply, pumping, storage and distribution, wastewater collection,
treatment and discharge, stormwater collection and treatment, landfill
closures, transfer stations, rate studies, grants and funding, value
engineering studies and alternative/innovative technology. |

Wastewater
Hoyle, Tanner has managed and designed a large number of wastewater treatment
projects, and provides a full range of engineering services from
planning and concept studies through construction management, start-up
and operating assistance. Recent projects have included several
wastewater plants in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Florida and
the US Virgin Islands. Our design work is both energy and cost
conscious. Designs have included treated wastewater reuse,
microtunneling and other trenchless technology, biosolids
management, thickening, dewatering, aerobic and anaerobic system, composting,
sequencing batch reactors, microfiltration and other innovative
technologies.
Stormwater
Hoyle, Tanner has not only designed numerous stormwater collection treatment
facilities but has assisted communities in setting up stormwater
utilities based on impervious areas allowing communities to access user
fees similar to water and wastewater bills. Hoyle, Tanner designed one of the
first certified swirl concentrators in the United States in Burlington, Vermont. |
