Airport Road/Brown Avenue Improvements

(Manchester-Boston Regional Airport)

The Airport Entrance Road at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport needed to be relocated to support the rapid growth and provide sufficient capacity to meet the needs of the Airport.

Hoyle, Tanner evaluated more than ten possible alignments and intersection configurations.  Variations in the taxiway alignment and taxiway bridge location and span were also evaluated.

Improve vehicle access to the airport, which has deteriorated due to the airport’s recent, rapid growth

Provide sufficient capacity to meet the needs of the airport’s future growth

Provide a connection of the NHDOT airport access road linking the F.E. Everett Turnpike

bullet

Allow construction of a taxiway to the Runway 6 end. 

The entrance road was lowered to allow the taxiway to be constructed on a bridge over the roadway.
