Municipal Bridges

Our project experience includes over 160 municipal bridge projects. Our recent experience includes nearly sixty (60) municipal bridge projects under the NHDOT Municipal Bridge Program. We have also completed several municipal projects under MDOT, VTrans and MassHighway bridge funding programs. We take great pride in our track record of having secured over $24 million in Bridge Aid over the past few years to many of these municipalities.

Federal and State Agency Bridges

We have completed many bridge projects for state transportation agencies, including New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans), Massachusetts Highway Department (Mass Highway), Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Massachusetts District Commission (MDC). Our expertise includes concrete, prestressed concrete, steel and timber bridges.

Covered Bridges

Hoyle, Tanner is one of the few consulting firms that specializes in covered bridge consulting with extensive project experience. Services not only include the rehabilitation design of existing bridges, but the design of new covered bridges using traditional methods.
