Wells Appointed to UNH Strategic Plan Steering Committee |
||
|
Frank Wells, Senior Vice President of Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc. (Hoyle, Tanner), and UNH Manchester Advisory Board member, was recently appointed by UNH President, Mark Huddleston, to serve on the UNH Strategic Plan Steering Committee. Mr. Wells will represent the business interests of the greater Manchester community as part of a 30 member team comprised of representatives from across the University. The goal of the Steering Committee is to develop a comprehensive, campus-wide strategic plan for the University as it charts its course over the next five to ten years. The result of the committee process will be the first strategic road map UNH has ever had, with a course of action being guided by four or five major initiatives describing where UNH is, where it wants to go, and how it will get there. “UNH has mattered to our business, and UNH Manchester matters to our future” said Wells at the October 24th celebration of receipt of a $325,000 U.S. Department of Education FIPSE (Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education) grant, pointing to the number of UNH graduates employed by Hoyle, Tanner. UNH growth is a priority for Hoyle, Tanner. The firm has been and remains active in the UNH community through a $50,000 donation for renovation and enhancement of Kingsbury Hall (Durham campus), as well as numerous projects including its recent selection by the University System of New Hampshire, for both structural and civil/site engineering term services. Wells’ appointment to the Strategic Plan Steering Committee strengthens Hoyle, Tanner’s commitment to ensuring the vitality of UNH and its many facilities and institutions, and supports the University’s mission to serve the higher education needs of the people of New Hampshire and the region. |
