South Burlington, VT Selects Hoyle,Tanner for Williston Road          Stormwater Project

It is a pleasure to announce our recent notification by the City of South Burlington that Hoyle, Tanner has been awarded the Williston Road stormwater project.

The objective of this Williston Road stormwater treatment project is to capture and treat stormwater runoff from a portion of Williston Road and the surrounding commercial properties near the I-89 exit 14 interchange in the City of South Burlington. Currently, stormwater runoff from these impervious surfaces is predominantly untreated prior to flowing into Centennial Brook, which has been identified as principally impaired due to the discharge of this runoff.  The City of South Burlington wishes to identify and design a stormwater treatment alternative, in accordance with the Vermont Stormwater Management Manual (VSWMM) and the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (VTDEC) Engineering Feasibility Analysis (EFA) procedures, in an effort to improve the existing stormwater quality and quantity problems in this area.

This project is being funded through the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act (SAFETEA) grant funds administered through the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans).

Hoyle, Tanner looks forward to providing these services to, as well as a continued working relationship with, the City who has been a long-time client.
