A project of our Westborough, Massachusetts office, the Swansea Desalination Water Treatment Facility is the first of its type in the northeast US.  It features the membrane microfiltration systems pictured on the cover in the lower left which filters the well water and also provides pretreatment for the RO (reverse osmosis) desalting membranes on the right.  The goal of the project was to treat brackish water from the coastal Palmer River.
