J. Richard "Dick" Ludders, C.M. Honored with Vincent A. Scarano Legacy Award for 2009 |

At the quarterly Granite State Airport Manager’s Association meeting recently, Hoyle, Tanner’s Senior Vice President – Aviation Services Group, Dick Ludders was presented with the annual Vincent A. Scarano Legacy Award.
The award reads as follows:
Certificate of Special Recognition and Recipient of the New England Region, Airports Division Vincent A. Scarano Legacy Award 2009
In recognition of your lifetime passion and contributions to aviation and airport development, particularly New England; your untiring dedication in preserving New Hampshire’s aviation history, and active participation in aviation industry groups”
LaVerne F. Reid, Manager Airports Division New England Region, presented Dick the award which recognizes and pays honor to an outstanding aviation stakeholder in the New England Region for contributions to and achievements in airport related area. Any individual, company, or institution is eligible for the award. The Airport Division presents this award annually to those who have shown exceptional professional performance as well as uncommon effort beyond normal work duties. The recipient demonstrates leadership, accomplishments, community outreach, innovations, and/or service to customers. It was established in 2008 to honor Vincent Scarano, the former Manager, Airports Division, New England Region who served the FAA for 47 years and retired in 2004.
