In the 15 year history of this race, this was the best weather!!  Not because it has been inclement in past years, but that it’s usually hazy, hot and humid!  It was a comfy 75 degrees at start time with a slight breeze to make for a pleasant evening.  For walking, it seemed perfect.  Runners may feel different.  Hoyle, Tanner has had a team in this race for 12 consecutive years now.  This year, it was Audrey Beaulac who had the fastest time for the Hoyle, Tanner team – way to go, Audrey!  Our youngest team attendee was 3 month old Oden Audet who was so content he chose to snooze through the course.  Six year old team attendee, Tuckerman Wozniak, walked the entire 3.2 miles and is quite proud, as are Mom and Dad!!  Congratulations to everyone on the Hoyle, Tanner team for their involvement in this fun event and worthy cause supporting Easter Seals NH and Child Health Services!!

Notes of interest:  The winner of the entire race had a time of 14:02!!  The last person to cross the finish line did it in 1:14:31 (and not it was not anyone from Hoyle, Tanner!).  There were 4751 actual participants at the event (3 of whom were age 80 or over) – still NH’s biggest road race to date; although the inaugural Manchester City Marathon this November may claim that title.
