Stefano Ceriana, P.E., LEED AP Presents at Water Works Conference

Hoyle, Tanner’s Environmental Services Group Project Manager, Stefano Ceriana, P.E., LEED AP, recently presented a Hoyle, Tanner project, What Results Are Possible in Hydraulic Modeling? A Case Study of Water Distribution Modeling in Citrus County, Florida, at the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) fall conference in Orlando, Florida.  The presentation outlined the procedure followed to construct, calibrate and analyze the County’s water distribution system.  In 2007, Citrus County’s Water Resource Department expanded its water distribution system by over 1.6 million linear feet of piping, via the acquisition of three new utility systems.  The hydraulic model was able to identify deficiencies within the distribution systems and suggest solutions and improvements to improve overall performance.  Citrus County is now in possession of a hydraulic model, a tool that allows them the opportunity to evaluate their systems at their fingertips.
