Why Are We Advertising for the Art in Bloom Festival in Fairfax, VT?

The 3rd Annual Art in Bloom Festival brought many exhibits and a day of music to Swanson's Farm & Nursery on Saturday July 25, 2009 to benefit the Fairfax Fire & Rescue Departments. Admission for this event was FREE, all that was asked for were parking & ice cream donations.

The festival offered over 34 vendors including Vermont artisans displaying their works. Music was provided by the Azona Watson Band, Hubcats, Backside Grind, Wilbur’s Dog, and Hillbillies from Outer Space throughout the day.

The event offered a day of art, music, raffles, fun activities and food.

Approximately 600 people were in attendance and a total of $1,500 was raised for the Fairfax Fire and Rescue! 

So why IS this on the Hoyle, Tanner website you might ask??  Because our own Charlie Swanson, P.E., Vice President and Senior Transportation Engineer, is the owner of Swanson’s Farm & Nursery and is responsible for the creation of this event!!  Way to give back Charlie and Nicole!  We applaud you!!
