Location, Location, Location...

Oviedo is located in the center of Florida and is part of the greater Orlando area.  The region is known world-wide as a premier travel and vacation destination due to the major theme parks located in the area.  Although known as a travel destination, the greater Orlando area is home to over 1.8 million permanent residents who enjoy the area's central location in Florida with easy access to the beaches of both coasts. 

 

Oviedo is approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown Orlando in Seminole County, which allows convenient access to the attractions of the area and to the world-class airport facilities of the Orlando International Airport.  The City is 16 square miles in size.  Amenities include a wide variety of shopping opportunities, neighborhood safety, and excellent schools which are one of the reasons people choose to live in Oviedo.

 

Oviedo is about 150 miles from the Florida/Georgia state line, 50 miles from the Atlantic coast and 75 miles from the Gulf of Mexico coast, and is only about 370 miles from the Florida Keys.

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with eight (8) to twelve (12) years of experience in the development of bridge inspection, rehabilitation and replacement projects for public agencies.  FDOT experience, NBIS certification, railroad bridge or prestressed/post tensioned concrete experience preferred.  BSCE and PE (or ability to obtain) required.
